Welcome to the Ancrum One
GP Practice
Ancrum ONE offers GP medical services to patients in parts of
Dundee and the surrounding areas. All patients must be
registered with Dr Iain Arthur, Dr Sarah Arthur, Dr Paul Clarke,
Dr Faye Sinclair or Dr Sadaf Gill.
Ancrum ONE is located in Ancrum Medical Centre which is a
spacious, traditional building in Ancrum Road, Dundee,
Scotland. We share the premises with the separate Practice of
Drs Ip & Hossain-Ibrahim.
How do I register?
We accept new NHS patients wishing to join the practice. You must live within our
Practice boundary. Please ask at reception for details. All new patients are
required to attend a new patient registration medical with the practice nurse.
Medical & Nursing Students
Our practice is closely linked with The University of Dundee Medical School. We
very often have Medical or Nursing students sitting in with the Doctors and
Nurses. If you do not wish to have a medical student observe your consultation
please tell the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment.

surgery during normal working
hours.
Out of hours
If we are closed and you are too ill
to wait until we re-open, please
visit the NHS 24 website for
advice or call them free on 111. If
you think that someone's life is at
risk you should phone 999
immediately.
Closures
The Practice is closed on NHS

Holidays and also on several
afternoons each year for Protected

Coronavirus - Covid-19
•
Patients with symptoms of coronavirus should stay at home for 10 days and arrange to be tested. Do not go to your GP, Pharmacist or Hospital.
•
Patients should call NHS 24 on 111 day or night ONLY IF their symptoms are severe or they have shortness of breath, if the symptoms worsen
during the 10 day self isolation period or have not improved after 7 days.
•
The NHS inform website is the fastest way to get information on symptoms, self help, testing and how to self isolate.
If you feel you need to see or speak to a GP or Nurse FOR REASONS OTHER THAN CORONAVIRUS, please phone on the normal number 01382
669500 and give your details to a receptionist. You will be asked to give brief details of your illness and a GP or nurse will then call you back. It is likely
that your problem can be managed without the need to be seen in the surgery but the GP will ask you to attend if necessary.
Covid-19 Vaccination
Please look on NHSinform for up to date information on the Covid-19 vaccines and the vaccination program. Please SEE THIS PAGE for information on
